Bernard Hopkins beats Roy Jones jr, Roy Jones vs Bernard Hopkins results & Jones vs Hopkins results, video. Here was a fight where the man who came to the ring defeated was not the underdog. It was the way round. And the underdog lost the bought.
But things were not as simple as that. Bernard Hopkins who had lost to Roy Jones, a tougher fighter at that time in nineties, was able to beat his nemesis today.
But despite winning all the rounds, it would be wrong to conclude that it was a one sided fight and that Bernard Hopkins won it easily.
Three times during the fight, it became hard for Hopkins to stand on his feet. But if it was for three times for Hopkins, it was worse for Roy Jones Jr.
After unanimous loss from Bernard Hopkins, Roy Jones is thinking of calling it a day.
On the other hand the much needed win has given another opportunity to seek further success even in his late age.

This fight was terrible. I went to Hooters to watch it. I'm glad that I didn't order it on pay per view. However, Hopkins did clearly win the fight. Don't know what Roy was doing. He was flaunting Hopkins, while getting tagged. Hopkins was the one laughing at the end. The only thing Roy should be happy about is getting the same pay cut as Bernard and going all 12 rounds without hitting the canvas.
